FAQ

Yarn care

Although superwash yarns are machine-washable, it is strongly recommended to hand wash finished items in cool water, using a gentle no-rinse wool wash. Some bleeding may occur with the first few washes, which is perfectly normal, especially with saturated colours. Your garment should be laid flat to dry.

Orders

In-stock yarns are ready to ship within 1-3 business days. Sweater quantity orders are dyed upon request and may take up to 21 days to be completed.

It is possible to combine multiple orders, as long as the original has not yet been shipped. A refund will then be issued for any over payment of shipping cost.

Photos accuracy

Every effort is taken to ensure that the photos are as accurate as possible. However, some monitors or devices may represent colors differently. If for this reason you are unhappy with the colours of the yarn you have ordered, please refer to the Return/Exchange Policy.

Yarn winding service

Fall for November offers a Winding service that provides yarn already wounded into cakes for those who don't have access to a swift. You can ask for your whole order or only part of it to be caked up.

Ball winders need some tension in order to create a compact cake, and this tension can stretches the wool. This is why it is not recommended to keep the yarn in a cake form for an extended period of time. However, Fall for November yarns are wounded twice, which results in beautiful cakes that are not under so much tension, preventing the yarn from being stretched.
